The Indian peafowl is a species of peacock from South Asia. The male peacock is predominantly blue, and is best known for its feathers, which contain circles of vivid colors that are most visible when it raises its feathers to attract females. Despite the length and size of those feathers, peacocks are still capable of flying. Females have green feathers under the neck and brown feathers on the body.
