On the occasion of Subotica City Day, Palić Zoo will host special programs for visitors over the course of three days, starting on Saturday, August 30, and concluding on Monday, September 1, 2025.
An Educational Public Feeding Program, where visitors can see first-hand what different animal species enjoy eating the most, will take place on all three days from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., according to the following schedule:

10:00 – Brown Bear

11:00 – Macaws

12:00 – Camels
-
1:00 p.m. – Seal
-
2:00 p.m. – De Brazza’s Monkeys

3:00 p.m. – Eland Antelopes
-
4:00 p.m. – Meerkats
In front of the Amphitheater Classroom (opposite the meerkats), a workshop entitled “Greetings from the Zoo” will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The youngest visitors will have the opportunity to color postcards featuring motifs of Serbia’s protected animal species and send them as a souvenir from the Zoo. In case of bad weather, the workshop will be held inside the Amphitheater Classroom.
Workshops are free of charge for all visitors, with a purchased Zoo entrance ticket. On the occasion of City Day, children up to 12 years of age will enjoy free admission on the mentioned dates (children over 12, as well as parents and accompanying adults, pay the entrance fee according to the valid price list).
