On the occasion of the announced press conference by former employees of the zoo, M.M. and A.M., we would like to emphasize the following: the employment of two animal keepers was terminated after a disciplinary procedure had been conducted, during which these same employees brought 85 dead pigeons into the Zoo, contrary to prescribed procedures and without the knowledge of the responsible persons, thereby potentially endangering the health of other animals in the zoo. Due to all of the above, the competent authorities have been informed of this घटना, and proceedings are ongoing. We are aware that such information may cause concern among citizens and animal lovers.
ZOO Palić will not participate in media speculation; however, if false statements are made, it will undertake all measures предусмотренные законом to protect the reputation of the institution and the truth.
Attempts by former employees to present events through the media contrary to the facts will not change the truth: the procedures were conducted in accordance with the law, and the competent authorities are involved. ZOO Palić will not allow the reputation of the institution to be undermined by falsehoods.
The public will be timely informed about all relevant facts.
