“Under the slogan ‘One Journey, a Thousand Stories,’ the 47th International Tourism Fair is being held in Belgrade—one of the most significant tourism events in the region.
At this prestigious event, a cross-border IPA cooperation project between Subotica and Osijek was presented. The project aims to strengthen the tourism offer and connect these destinations through joint activities and promotion.
Four partners are participating in the project:
- Palić Zoo
- Tourism Organization of the City of Subotica
- City of Osijek Tourist Board
- Unikom – Osijek Zoo
The goal of the project is to improve tourism infrastructure, exchange experiences, and create new content that will further enrich the offerings of both cities. Through a joint appearance at the fair, the partners presented the region’s potential and highlighted the importance of cross-border cooperation in developing sustainable tourism.
Participation in the Tourism Fair represents an important step toward the further positioning of Subotica and Osijek as attractive destinations that offer a unique blend of nature, culture, and authentic experiences.
Because every journey truly carries a thousand stories, and some of them begin right here at the zoo.
