Tommy is a male chimpanzee who was born on December 24, 1983 in the Frankfurt Zoo, and in 1992 he lived in the Czech Republic. He came to the ZOO in Palić in May 1997, and for a short time he also stayed in the Belgrade Zoo, where they were amazed by his size.

It is characteristic of Tommy that he does not get along well with other chimpanzees, but rather enjoys the presence of people, especially his groomers, to whom he is gentle. Every year he gets a cake and a present for his birthday, he really likes to get chimp-shaped dolls. If someone wants to give him a toy, he is happiest when he is given a toy in the shape of a monkey, and he also likes someone else’s wardrobe that smells of perfume. Tommy has the opportunity to enjoy all the channels through his television, and he likes to watch National Geographic – Wild the most.
